AirAsia continuously expands its network in Cebu by adding flights to some of the country’s top summer destinations – Davao, Palawan and Boracay. Last year, AirAsia also added two international flights from Cebu to Singapore and Taiwan, and increased their Kuala Lumpur flights to four times weekly, giving Cebuanos more opportunities to experience The World’s Best Low Cost Carrier, and more options when traveling.
Philippines AirAsia CEO Captain Dexter Comendador said, “It’s an exciting time to visit Cebu this summer season and connect to various island destinations in Boracay, Palawan, and Davao with AirAsia’s awesome connectivity and unparalleled low fares.”
AirAsia will commence it’s new routes from Cebu starting April 22 with daily flights to Boracay and Palawan, while flights to Davao are scheduled twice daily. The airline company will also fly from Davao to Boracay and Palawan thrice weekly, and to Clark four times weekly. These flight expansions is AirAsia’s commitment to help boost tourism in the Visayas and Mindanao region. AirAsia is also servicing Cebu to Incheon/Seoul in South Korea.
“With our newest routes, AirAsia would like to provide much needed connections and tap into undeserved markets, grow it, as there is definitely great tourism and business potentials in Visayas and Mindanao. We are thrilled to paint Cebu lies red,” Comendador added.
