I braved the busy downtown area to check what Metro Colon Sidewalk Sale has in store for us this summer and I didn’t go home empty handed. I actually spent hours browsing through the racks and going up and down in the 6 floor department store. Let me show you the items that I got.

I’ve been looking for sling bag like this one and I finally found it at the ladies bag section of Metro Department Store. I really love the tassel detail because it gives an accent to the simplicity of the bag.

The heat of the sun during summer is at its extreme that’s why it is more important for us to wear sunscreens. The SPF130 and 10% off of Dermplus sunscreen is a steal!

I have an upcoming trip to Siargao and the print of this shirt is perfect for the venue. It’s not on sale but I super love the print.

I’ve been looking for artificial leaves in ages and I finally found these at the Home section of Metro Colon. These will be perfect props for my flat lay photos. These are not on sale though.

Keds

Keds Fall 2017 collection is ready to make a splash with weatherized footwear staples. Saucony

The Saucony brand is really popular with runners and Marl Pack collection is getting a new lineup featuring a sleek grey palette which is perfect for whatever the day, or the road throws at you, while the Saucony Heathered Chroma Pack is getting an upgrade with a soft heathered material and chroma reflective detailing. Saucony also fuses performance and style with their new LITEFORM series. These shoes combine lightweight uppers with highly flexible and cushioned soles.

My favorite from their latest collection are the Jazz Originals which combines comfort and style. The collection features heathered jersey upper and a shock-absorbing striped EVA midsole.

Merrell

Merrell is one of the go-to brands when it comes to outdoors. This season, Merrell released a new version of the favorite lifestyle pair, the Merrell 1SIX8 AC+, which features the signature Merrell Air Cushion+, breathable mesh, and an EVA contoured footbed. The hiker favorite Moab 2 was also revamped with a roomy toe box, snug heel, and precise instep for added support.

We all need a trusty bag when we go outdoors. Merrell’s bag collection is perfect for city streets, mountain trails, or weekend getaways.

Muesli Pod. I really need to lose some weight and this ready to eat muesli would be a perfect breakfast or snack. It also comes with a spoon which is very convenient.

Despicable Me Puzzle. I love puzzle games but what I really love about this product is the cute canister. You can use it as storage for your small items and as a cute desk décor at the same time.

Nissin Big Cup Noodle. I love Nissin’s Seafood Cup Noodles, and this big cup variant is perfect for a big eater like me.

Palm Corned Beef. This is my favorite corned beef brand ever! I’m glad it’s available at Landers Superstore Cebu. I usually just transfer the corned beef in a container and pop it in the microwave, then eat it with rice. Extra rice please!

Smartfood Popcorn. I fell in love with the packaging of this popcorn, then my blogger friend Etienne said it was the bomb. So I grabbed one.

Julie’s Le-mond. I was happy to find a local Cebu brand on the shelves of Landers. This puff sandwich with lemon cream filling from Malaysia is perfect for snacks paired with hot tea. Thank you Kaye for the correction.

Kraft Caramel. This is my favorite since I was a child! I was crying inside because of happiness when I found this on the shelves.

Truffette de France Truffle Spread. I can’t wait to eat this with toasted croissants.

Coca-Cola Coin Bank. I have lots of coins at home and this cute coin bank is perfect to store them.

Country Time Lemonade. Another childhood favorite. My mom use to buy this in duty free stores and I’m glad it’s available at Landers Cebu.

I picked mostly ready to consume items because I’m living independently. If you will see the carts of my blogger friends, it’s filled with household items that are widely available at Landers Cebu. If I was living with my family, I would probably put the same products in my cart.

Landers Superstore is a membership type store selling a mix of top-notch imported and local products. These include grocery items, electronics, apparel, and health and beauty products. Our day started with an afternoon chill at the Cabanas over some drinks and of course, Mövenpick Ice Cream! I was actually given a pass to enjoy the beach and pool but I arrived at Mövenpick Cebu late afternoon because of work. I just decided to relax and wait for the party.

This year’s theme for the Electro Beach Festival was White Party. I decided to wear a white polo and a light grey shorts to keep it simple, and my floral Flossy plimsolls to give the look an accent. This pair of Flossy is the perfect footwear for venues like Mövenpick Cebu.

Going back to Electro Beach Festival, we kick-off the night with a sumptuous dinner buffet at the Sails Restaurant featuring dishes all over Asia. We then headed to Ibiza Beach Club for the party. The night was filled with beats from Japanese DJs that kept everyone dancing.

I am very thrilled to announce that the world-famous lifestyle brand, New Era, is now open in Cebu. New Era launched their store to Cebuanos last May 21, 2016 to cater to the growing New Era Cap enthusiasts and collectors in the Queen City of the South. New Era Cap Cebu features 500 plus cap designs to choose from and with over 4000 pieces of caps. Some designs that are available at New Era store in Cebu are not even available in other New Era stores in Philippines. The store also offers shirts, bags and cleaning accessories for your caps.

One of the features of New Era Cap store in Cebu is the cap steamer. It’s a machine that can fix deformed caps to bring it back to its original shape. It also helps eliminate molds and odors. This machine can be used for free by New Era Cap owners.
